FALL CAMPUS VISIT DAYS - STORRS CAMPUS
Sunday, October 12, 2025 or Saturday, October 25, 2025 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (DMD events from 10:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
Join us on our main campus for a Fall Campus Visit Day designed to highlight the very best that UConn has to offer. From academic sessions and admissions presentations, to student panels and more, discover what makes UConn one of the nation’s top public universities. Visit Bishop Center to meet DMD faculty and students and tour facilities.
DMD concentrations include: 3D Animation, Digital Film/Video Production, Game Design, Digital Culture, Digital Media Business Strategies, Motion Design & Animation, Web/Interactive Media Design.

Interested in the Film Major? Walking Tours to the Advanced Film Studio in the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts will leave from the lobby in Bishop Center at approximately 12:30 p.m.
When registering, choose "Fine Arts" program, and be sure to select “Digital Media and Design (BA) or (BFA)” as your “Intended Major*”
STAMFORD - FALL CAMPUS VISIT DAY
Saturday, October 18 from 9:00am to 1:00pm
Connect with faculty, staff, and current Huskies; tour campus; and learn more about UConn Stamford at this open house visit opportunity for prospective students.

Recording of the live Zoom event where potential future Huskies learned about our seven concentrations, the application process, and the DMD student experience. After a brief presentation and introductions, we broke out into rotating sessions to meet faculty and current students in our 7 concentrations, ask questions, and view student work. This video contains a 7-minute rapid overview of the department, followed by introductions by faculty and select students. We create future leaders in design, communications, business, and entertainment. Students can study animation, gaming, web design & development, digital media business strategies, film / video production, and the digital humanities.
Under the guidance of faculty who are all experienced professionals and practitioners, students have access to state-of-the-art facilities and engage with leading-edge hardware and software to both produce and measure digital media content for both today - and tomorrow’s - brave new digital world.
