Meredith Friedman joined the Digital Media & Design Department as the Educational Program Coordinator in summer 2023. She started working at UConn in 2020, and prior to that worked for five years in various student affairs positions at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. As an undergraduate student, she studied art history abroad at the University of Cambridge in the UK. As a graduate student, she completed an artist residency in Berlin, Germany. Her artwork questioned taste, vulgarity, and the use of imagery as both social capital and a means to form and define identity. She has shown her work nationally and internationally, from Baltimore to Lithuania. Meredith is happy to merge her background in the arts with her skills and experience in higher education administration.
