Maria’s creativity is fueled by her passion for learning. As an animator she has collaborated with world-class scientists at NASA, USC, UCLA, and now UConn! In addition, her work has been seen by millions of Youtube viewers on the educational channels Veritasium, Socratica, and SupertutorTV. As an MFA student in DMD, Maria will further explore the use of digital media to create accessible, innovative e-learning experiences.

Industry Experience: Maria was a Multimedia Editor with EBSCO Information Services for over 2.5 years, where she produced and/or edited hundreds of instructional videos, animations, and images for an audience of healthcare professionals.
