Rein is a first-year M.F.A. candidate at the University of Connecticut in the Digital Media and Design program. Her main research areas are Game Design and Interactive Media with a focus on serious games. 

Rein is passionate about games as a medium for translating human experience and emotions in historical and social contexts. She started to develop video games several years ago, both as a solo developer and a team member. Since then, she has worked on more than 15 game concepts and prototypes, including video games, board games, and tabletop role-playing games. Rein has participated in several art contests held by universities and companies, and she is profoundly interested in game jams as a creative practice.
