Anke Finger directs the Humanities Institute initiative on Digital Humanities and Media Studies (DHMS) and is a professor of German Studies and Media Studies in the Department of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages. She has published widely on interart studies, media convergences, aesthetics, and media theory (with a focus on the Czech-Brazilian media philosopher Vilém Flusser), among other topics. She is currently working on a number of digital scholarship and videography projects, including “The Conviction Project” and “Flusser 2.0.”
