Dear DMD Class of 2023,
Welcome to UConn Digital Media & Design! UConn DMD is an innovative, transformative experience that employs the use of industry-leading concepts and technologies, creating future leaders in design, communications, business, entertainment, and related fields. We offer BFA & BA degrees across 7 concentrations in a full range of digital media: 3D animation, film/video production, game design, motion design & animation, digital media business strategies, digital humanities, and web & interactive media design, as well as a BA in Digital Media & Design for the tech generalist. Each fosters collaboration with industry partners and experiential learning to teach our students to respond to real-world challenges that distinguish them as thinkers, creators, and innovators in the digital space.
One Vision, Two Campuses. You are joining a community of over 315 undergraduate and graduate students, 215 in Storrs, and 100 in Stamford. Whichever campus, the DMD community is filled with bright, ambitious students and dedicated faculty. We encourage students to find and express their voice, building from their unique background and perspective. We believe a diversity of thought and expression is needed in society and see great promise in your ability to make a difference in the world as future digital media content creators, distributors, and analyzers.
