BFA Senior Exhibition

Brevity: 2025 UConn Digital Media & Design BFA Senior Exhibition
The UConn Digital Media & Design (DMD) Department is excited to announce the 2025 DMD BFA Senior Exhibition, Brevity. The in-person exhibition is open from March 31 to April 25, 2025, in the Jorgensen Gallery at UConn’s Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, with an opening reception on Friday, April 4th, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. EDT. Also featured on opening night are two programs of screenings of films and animations in the Jorgensen Auditorium at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., culminating with awards. Regular gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and before performances, and during most intermissions. All events are free and open to the public.
Brevity features the work of 49 senior UConn DMD Bachelor of Fine Arts students from the Storrs and Stamford campuses. Exhibited artworks range from 2D and 3D animations to narrative and documentary films, mobile apps, websites, and games. The title Brevity inspires students to look ahead to their future creative endeavors, instead of dwelling on the past. While Brevity’s fleeting nature can feel like the beginning of the end, it’s also a testament to the growth of our students and how they will continue to evolve even after graduation.
