8th Annual UConn DMD BFA Senior Exhibition and
Film & Animation Festival
The UConn School of Fine Arts’ Digital Media & Design (DMD) Department is proud to present its 8th Annual BFA Senior Exhibition. In response to the department's extraordinary growth, this year’s exhibition will include a day-long film and animation festival.
The exhibition is open from April 10 to 26, 2026 in the Jorgensen Gallery. A public reception will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Jorgensen Gallery is located on the lower level of Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts at 2132 Hillside Road on the UConn Storrs campus. Spring 2026 gallery hours are Monday to Wednesday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday 1-4 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and prior to performances and during most intermissions.
The Film & Animation Festival will take place on Saturday, April 25, at the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre, also in the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts. The doors open at 10 a.m., with the first of four screening blocks starting at 11 a.m., ending at approximately 8 p.m. All events are free and open to the public (donations appreciated). The exhibition and festival feature the work of 59 BFA seniors from both the Storrs and Stamford campuses, spanning 2D and 3D animation, narrative and documentary film, game design, mobile apps, and web design.
