In addition to the one-minute video, applicants are asked to complete a 250-word story titled “The Cave.” Your story should be accompanied by a simple image of a cave which you’ve obtained from the internet. In your written piece, tell us about the cave, where it’s located, where it leads, or who/what lives in the cave. What about this cave is special to you? We consider this creative assignment to be part of your portfolio and an important part of the application process.”
