Degrees Overview

UConn’s Digital Media & Design program is a trans-disciplinary program of study facilitating students exploration of creativity, business, design thinking, digital art, humanities, innovation, and technology in preparation for careers in the digital media space.

The DMD department offers four-year BA and BFA undergraduate degree programs that accept students directly from high school and transfer students directly from other institutions of higher learning.

Students interested in applying to the program are required to create a 60-second video introduction, present an online portfolio of their work and in some cases, to interview with the department admissions committee. In addition, all students are required to meet the requirements of the University of Connecticut Admissions  Office.

All interested students may contact the University Admissions Office for more information at UConn Admissions: or phone: 860.486.3137.

Please apply to Digital Media & Design through the regular UConn admissions process.
