Application Process

Admissions to the School of Fine Arts as a Digital Media & Design Major is a two part process involving both a portfolio review/interview as well as the submission of a general application through the Common Application.  The Common Application can be obtained through the University of Connecticut Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Undergraduate Application Deadlines


January 15, 2017* – General Application through Common App.

January 27, 2017 – Portfolio submissions must be uploaded to Slideroom for review

*December 1, 2016 if you would like to be considered for merit scholarships.


July 1, 2016 – General application and portfolio submission uploaded to Slideroom

Transfers Applicants-  We recommend transfer applicants use the same application time-table that Freshman applicants follow.  Please contact Transfer Admissions for current information and to apply online.  Students who are transferring from another Connecticut school or college may review transfer course equivalencies at Search Transfer Course Equivalencies.

Graduate students should follow the Graduate Application Process.
